  • Times Square host over 39 million visitors annually.
  • "Famous for it's electric, neon, illuminated signs including Coca-Cola, NASDAQ and the TOSHIBA.
  • On New Year's Eve, almost a million people join together to celebrate the ball dropping. An annual tradition held on December 31st.
  • Times Square is known as "The Small World", "The Crossroads of the World", "The Great White Way" and "The Tenderloin" because it was the most desirable place in the 1920's.
  • On February, 2011 Times Square became officially smoke free.
